High citrate in urine spot test
My kid(5 Month male) is having hydronephrosis from birth right side grade 3. Recent US scan revealed his left kidney has calculies largest 3mm in size. Recently I have done urine citrate test and spot citrate content is 1.3 mmol/L. Is that abnormal? that is cause to these stone formation?

Have a good follow up with a urologist/paediatrician. Value of spot citrate may change with time as may be right side hydronephrosis. A metabolic evaluation may be required if stone formation increase
