High cholesterol n low iron deficiency
I have low iron (iron 44.84; transferrin Saturation 12.96) n high cholesterol levels(total cholesterol 211 ; non HDL cholesterol 171.30 ; LDL / HDL ratio 3.78 ; Cholesterol / HDL ratio 5.31 ) as I randomly got my blood test done, wanted to know if there is a matter of concern to get myself treated asap or I can wait for sometime n after a month or so I can go. I do suffer from vitamin deficiency for which I take medicine n sometime injections (D3 n B12) n currently facing high hair fall n sometimes bad pain in the centre of chest.

You may not need any cholesterol medication right now..but LDL is a little high. Diet and exercise is needed to reduce LDL Repeat the test after four to six weeks.

Hello, You have bad cholesterol but seems like it can be taken care of with lifestyle modifications only for now like regular exercise high fibre diet, etc. The iron deficiency also can be taken care of with increasing intake of green leafy vegetables and apple, beetroot, jaggery, dates in your diet. Take care
