I use accu check for diabetes for my mother, almost after 6months when I checked it shows 500,she is perfectly alright, do we consult doctor or can increase the dosage of the tablet

Hello there.
500mg/dl is before food or after food.
Anyways, what ever it is be it before or after food, you need to consult a diabetologist on an urgent basis because 500 is alarmingly high.
She may be alright now but you never know when things can turn wrong.
Don't delay this any further and take it seriously. Take a diabetologist appointment on an urgent basis.
