I am looking for a diet plan for high blood sugar for my mother. Kindly advise. Specially want all need to eat and what all need to avoid.

You need to consult a dietitian for diabetic home meal plan according to her food choices, calory intake, weight age etc. In general diabetic patient should avoid. - mango chikoo banana grapes custurd apple - avoid juices instead consume fresh fruits - avoid refined floor or maida ptoducts like tosts, butter, buiscuits cookies etc - avoid high oily food - avoid red meat or muttons ( Fishes are good) - avoid high salt food (pickles, soups) - avoid cashew kismis dates figs resins ( almonds and wallnuts are ok). Good habbits: - daily minimum 40min walking - eat more green leafy vegetables -apples oranges pear peaches kiwi berries are good - use skimmed milk - yoghurt buttermilk increase intake - more fibre in diet
