High blood sugar 13 weeks
I am 13 weeks pregnant and on duphaston 10 mg and susten 200 mg twice daily since beginning. My fasting blood sugar levels are 110 which used to be around 75 before pregnancy. Can taking progestrone suppositories be a reason behind it? Till when progestrone has to be taken? Will my sugar levels get corrected after discontinuing the medicines?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern. 110 fasting is not high sugar level  for many labs reference range. As per standard protocols, fasting sugars 100-125 is considered pre-diabetes. As far as for how many days you have to take the medications is concerened, you havw to ask your treating doctor itself. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
