High blood pressure
My uncle underwent scalp cyst removal 6days ago and during that he was diagnosed with hypertension.he was started with clinidipine 5mg and after surgery he had bp 140-150/80 but while checking bp at home his readings are 170/90 morning and night . He was suggested by a neighbour doctor to take another clinidipine 5mg at night 8 when his reading kept being 160-170/90.
We have tried controlling his diet too. But even after taking twice a day his bp varies from 150-170/80-90.
Should we keep monitoring with twice daily tabs or should we add another bp medicine.
His ECG was normal and echo had concentric lvh ,gr 1 diastolic dysfunction,ef 66% no other abnormalities.
