I am a 21 year old having an outbreak on my genitals and one on my right buttock. I visited a doctor and they diagnosed me with herpes and wrote down some test for both me and my partner. Today we got our results but my tests are all negative and my partner's report are also negative except one that is HSV I/II IGg but he has no such symptoms and even if my reports are all negative I have an outbreak. What does this mean?

Antibody tests can be negative as it takes time for antibodies to be produced. However Ig G is positive means your partner had it previously. And he was having it
