So may be she has hernia again if abdomen is swollen.. U have consult yr surgeon first to rule out other cause.... She has undergone surgery for twice but not mentioned laproscopic or open surgery... Laproscopic surgery is more comfortable n beneficial... Rest surgeon will advice u according her physical condition as she is now 65...

if it is hernia again... surgery is the only option... but it's not hard n fast till it will not trouble...
