Hepatitis vaccine protection duration
I had taken Hepatitis B vaccination in 1999, Engerix B at schedule 0,1,2 and then booster after 12 months. Am I still protected? I felt a compounder yesterday while giving injection, even though injection was new, wasn't administering it in hygienic way. Should I take a booster within 24 hrs for protection?

Do a HBV antibodies.. if levels are less than 10.. get a booster..
An unhygienic injection practice won't cause hepatitis B unless the syringe is from infected prsn
