Hep C dx Levels of labs alarmingly high
Hi I am 37 yr old AA female just diagnosed with Hep C. Symptoms present of night sweats extreme sudden body mass reduction loss of weight loos of appetite. What does my following levels indicate? AST 248 ALT 224 BILI 1.8 ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE 163 LFT VERY HIGH PER DOC PLEASE ADVISE I DO NOT HAVE MY F/u WITH DOC FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS

If you were recently diagnosed then the labs are suggestive if acute liver injury. Hepatitis. Basically the enzymes are secreted out of inflamed liver. You should get PT, INR and aPTT done also.
