Hemoglobin COUNT fluctuations
Hi , Few months earlier when my father did blood test,his heamoglobin was 8 and doctor suggested him to get hospitalized and get 2 units of blood. After 2 months when hi again checked blood count got reduced to 4.7 even after getting 2 units of blood. Now the doctor has suggested him bone marrow test and few medicines. Below is the attached report. Kindly tell the interpretation.Does this indicate cancer symptom??

it looks like aplastic anemia so a bone marrow study is essential also do a lft and reticulocyte count send report to me on practo so that I can advise you further course of action

Hello, Major decrease in levels of hb, and different size and shapes of RBC, occurred in the time period of a month, so finding out the underlying problem of why this is happening is necessary. The bone marrow test clarifies that underlying cause and gives a clearer picture of how to manage it.
