My daughter was born with a large red Patch behind her left ear and pediatrician said it's hemangioma and will reduce slowly.. Nothing to worry.. . However over last one year it is increasing in size and now almost spreading to neck region, forehead and above right ear also... One small patch behind neck has disappeared.. Is it a cause of concern... What is next step if treatment... It will turn dark red when she cries... Her activities are good.. But she is falling sick very often and is very cranky crying always..

Hemangiomas usually resolve spontaneously between 2-3 years of age . Cry is not directly related with hemangioma . Be assured . A calculated dose of steroid generally helps . Pics are not very clear .
