Help regarding HIV status
Hi, Can anyone please tell me that what is the meaning of this .. I got tested for HIV 46 days after the exposure the index value came as 0.16(non reactive) and 1 got 2nd test after 80 days of exposure the index value came as 0.60(Non reactive) .. Can anyone please tell me that this increase in index value... Is it harmful? Am I still under the risk

Hi there...do not worry about the index values unless they are reactive. Since your reports are non reactive, you can relax. HIV virus sometimes can be negative in window period, which lats about 12 weeks. So it is better to repeat the test after 12 weeks again.
