Started birth control, caused very heavy bleeding and so I stopped taking it after 2 weeks and now I have heavy period with clots. Is this normal

Yes ,it's normal to have bleeding if you discontinue  birth control pills half way through. But if you are passing clots also along with heavy bleeding , you must visit a gynaecologist near your area so as to examine you and manage accordingly.
