1. Count the hair that you have lost. Sounds funny but still do it. Count at least 3 times a week and calculate the average. A person can shed up to 100 hair per day. Anything below that is normal.
2. Calculate your hemoglobin percentage. (Blood test) Anemia is the commonest cause of hair fall in Indian women. Eat iron rich foods .
3. Get a thyroid profile test done. Hypothyroidism can induce hair fall. If you have low TSH levels then visit your MD physician .
4. Improve on your life style. That is very important. Exercising sleeping on time and eating on time will keep your insulin levels in check and thus prevent hormonal induced hair fall.
