Heavy bleeding

Asked for Female, 31 Years

My wife having her period 3 days back. She was having her normal period. But yesterday, a incident happen near to her officer for which she got shocked and feared. After the incident, she was having heavy flow and it continuing today also. But today it is little less in comparison to yesterday. She is feeling little weak also. So will she take any medicine or wait for normal stop of the flow? Kindly suggest.
