Heating/burning sensation
What could be the reason behind the heating sensation on the left foot facing the floor. Not a frequent thing but getting every now and then. Please guide!

Thanks for writing in, Burning sensation in foot has many causes. Most common is due to change of footwears, dry feet etc. A recent weight gain or even weight loss can also cause burning sensation in foot. Mostly the problem resolves by itself without medicines but takes few weeks. You can give a trial of hot and cold fomentation to foot alternatively for a week. If problem persists it's better to consult an orthopaedician and get his advice accordingly. Get well soon.
