Heart valve shrinkage
I have taken echo today in that doctor diagnosed that one of my heart valve having mild shrinkage. But I'm not having any issues or symptoms so far. He suggested me to take pentids tablet. He said if it continues to shrink means we need to go for treatment or else if it be as it is means no need to worry. And I'm 8 month pregnant now does it affect my baby or it cause any difficulties during delivery.

Mild shrinkage means not severe disease Better to take tablets as it for prophylaxis You need to do yearly echocardiogram to see progress of valve
