Heart problems
I am a 27 year old healthy male. I don’t do drugs and i drink socially on occasion. I had contracted strep throat about 2-3 months ago. I also had a rash that started to appear. This last Sunday I went to the et with chest pains. Doctors thought I had a heart attack. I have been in the hospital since then and not getting better and not receiving an Answer. They say it’s not rheumatic fever and are looking into other things. I’ve been on pregnazon and anti inflammation meds which seem to work

More elaborated history needed regarding joint pain, 2D Echo report and ASLO TITRE AND CRP for thematic fever and rheumatic fever first event at this age generally unusual but if got unnoticed in childhood and now may be second time that is only possibility. To consider this Heart attack biomarkers, ECG changes, 2DEcho and ultimately angiography will help. If these two are rulled out there nothing major can consider from cardiac point of view. Could be costocondritic pain, gastritis, pleuritic pain etc. Other things need to be ruled out
