Heart checkup
I am male, 58 years, non-smoker and I do not drink I have recently been diagnosed with 'mild left ventricular hypertrophy' and 'grade1 left ventricular diastolic dysfunction'. Though Apollo hospitals where the test was done did not prescribe anything, my family physician has prescribed 'Deplatt 75mg' 1 per day for 3 months. Is there is something I need to be cautious or worried?

No. You don’t need any medications. Many a times mild hypertrophic changes are seen in athletes.
