Head injury due to accident
Head injury due to accident, hospitalised since from last 10 days. Now he is doing daily activities self with some help. Not able to recognise fully his family members. Things are in mind but not able to connect the names.. Some times words are like fumbling. Started speaking anything which has no meaning. Sometimes recognition is there in his eyes but able to connect properly. Pls suggest what should be done next now. Doctors are saying he will be fine completely may be within a month or more than that.

It is best to enquire with the treating doctors regarding the patients prognosis. It will depend on so many factors like age, extent of injury, any other concurrent medical illness. The fluctuations in orientation that you described are common after head injury. But it is best to take advise from a Doctor who is already treating your patient.
