My son who is 4 month old got some bump with redness on back of his head. His weight is 8.3kg The paediatrician told is it due to some infection but he is not having cold. He had mild fever day before yesterday. When I touched the bump he is not crying. The bump is movable. So he gave moxikind 3.5ml two times a day and gave T.bact. The doctor didn't prescribe any blood or urine test. I am scared can't it be anything else because the bump/abscess should pain. But he is not crying even the if we press the bump. After giving moxikind he wakes up for milk tries 5 mins to cry but sound is not coming. I am deeply stressed and scared please help. Head Bump pic attached

Hi
Continue the antobiotic medication which has been prescribed by your pediatrician.
The redness and swelling should resolve in next 4 to 5 days
If it does not resolve over next 4 to 5 days, or if child develops persistent high grade fever, please consult the doctor again because sometimes it is an abscess which needs incision and drainage along with antibiotics
