HBA1C score 5.9
I get a HBA1C score as 5.9 today, is there any reason to worry? I was developing skin tags on my neck and below my armpits so just visited dermatologist casually to get it treated, and than my HBA1C comes out to be 5.9 in report. Please let me know is there any reason to worry? How can I prevent myself to get diabetes, I dont want diabetes at all, please suggest

Yes you should be worrying about this . Having Skin tags and darkening of the neck means you have got insulin resistance. Having Hba1c of 5.8 % is in a pre diabetic range . And you are at a high risk of getting type 2 diabetes .
Next Steps
Adapting healthy lifestyle will help to reduce the risk of getting diabetes .
