HBA1C 10.8 during conception
Hello Doctor, I had diabetes and we came to know this only during my pregnancy test. During the time of conception my hba1c was 10.8. And we know only during initial tests. My health care team took a great care and reduced my sugar levels and brought it in control and help me maintain through out the pregnancy. Now my daughter is 2 years and 7 months old. She's doing good. But I'm little worried if this may affect my child in any means. Please help me on this.

If ur child did not have any issues during her newborn period, highly unlikely she would have any issues due to pregnancy induced diabetes. She may or may not develop diabetes in future, which is too early to predict.

Hello good morning, diabetes during pregnancy which is well controlled would not have effect on the baby. Not necessarily baby would have diabetes if you have.
