HB1AC report is 6.7 cholesterol 290
Today's HB1AC report  is 6.7. Also cholesterol is 290. She is currently taking (sitagliptin 50+ metformin 500) half tablet twice since last 3 months. Before she was taking 1 tablet twice but and Hb1ac was 5.0 but last 4-5 months after taking this medicine her blood glucose suddenly fall down under 100 mgdl so she made half the dose means taking half table twice but the Hb1ac again rise in today's also cholesterol shows high 290. So what should she required?

Take full tablet and also take raosuvastatin 10 mg and please share the full blood profile of her . Dose need to be adjusted

First of all both sitagliptin and metformin doesnt cause hypoglycemia i.e sugar less than 70 mg/dl, they are very safe drugs. Moreover diabetes management has now changed from glucocentric to individual centric treatment model.
