Having Ovarian Cyst / PCOS
Hello Doc, I'm a 15 years old girl. Last year I faced too much pain in my lower abdomen. Then I went to a gynecologist and he suggested me to go through an ultrasonography. There was cysts in my ovaries. Then he suggested me to be in observation and to lose my weight and also to be in diet. After that I lost my weight and the pain was not too much. It hurts when I do eat spicy foods. Nowdays, my weight has increased a little and now the pain is again like before. What should I do?

You have not mentioned what kind of cysts did you have in your ovaries. If its endometriotic cyst, it can cause pain but wont cause weight gain. However on the other hand if it is Polycystic ovaries, it will cause weight gain but will never cause pain during periods. So I guess there is something missing. Also you need to get couple of other tests done like testing your Thyroid, Prolactin, Sugars, Insulin and Vitamin D levels.
