Having fever since 5 days
He having fever 98-103 changing temperature, blood report is normal ,no malaria , having cold and Reddish eye, plz suggest

Hi there...I can understand your concern. Since the fever is associated with cold and red eyes, it usually points towards a viral etiology. Viral fever usually takes a few weeks to subside. Give him plenty of fluids, healthy food. Avoid spicy foods. Also consult a paediatrician for further evaluation. They might start on paracetamol, antibiotics, antihistamines and even advice admission if fever is high. Diseases like dengue and chikungunya will have to ruled out.
