Having burning sensations
I am having burning sensations in hands and legs for 3 months. My HbA1C came out to be 6.2. I am not diabetic. I have been prescribed Pregabid Forte 75mg. Not seeing enough improvement. Is it right med? What else can be done?

You should meet your doctor again and tell him about the lack of progress. He will suggest other medicines or further investigations.     Alternately you can meet a good Neurosurgeon/ Neurologist in your area who will be having specialized knowledge of peripheral neuropathy.
Next Steps
You have said that you are not diabetic but your HbA1C is borderline. Other tests may be needed to rule out early onset diabetes.
Health Tips
Smoking and Alcohol are other common reasons for peripheral neuropathy. Immediate cessation of all forms of nicotine and alcohol is advisable.     Often, blockage of blood vessels can also lead to such symptoms, called vascular claudication.     Rarely, compression of nerves or spinal cord may cause such symptoms, called radiculopathy/ neurogenic claudication.     Most infrequent would be tumors pressing on the tip of your spinal cord (conus) or involving the nerves arising from that tip (Cauda equina).
