HAVING A WOUND ON MY KNEE DUE TO A MINOR
Yesterday I met with a minor accident which caused injury on my knee. I am using Mupirocin ointment over it. And I am also using hot water over it. I have bought megaclox tablet to avoid any bacterial infection. I am also attaching an image of the wound. Please suggest.

Although the wound looks like a grazed abrasion, its important to know what caused the accident. Not all abrasions require antimicrobial agents. Unnecessary antimicrobial abuse only promotes resistance. Hot fomentation is not advised.
Next Steps
I would advise you to visit the nearest clinic/healthcare center and take a tetanus shot (if you haven't in the past 10 years), and while you're there, consult a doctor as well.

Don't apply hot water on the wound. Use ice. Don't take any antibiotics without consulting first. Apply the ointment and cover it and daily dressing for 3-5 days is necessary.
