Sometimes, lumps appear on the front part of my scalp (pea sized, hard, painless) for a few days, then the inflammation reduces and disappear. The area doesn't look red,it looks normal,as if the lump is 'under the skin' The times this has happened,I was either with a cold or sore throat and some lymph nodes behind my ears got inflamed too. I thought that the lumps in my head might be swollen lymph nodes, but I believe there are no lymph nodes in that region of the scalp. So, what could they be?
