Hairfall continues after delivery
Hi, My baby is 16 months old now. I had severe hairfall 4 months after delivery. Though it has decreased it is still there. Can i continue to have folic acid and iron tablets? I had very thick hair earlier, it has started thinning post delivery.

Postpartum hair loss( telogen effluvium) is a inevitable change due to the reduced estrogen levels . It usually start within 5months giving birth and lasts for 3-4 months. It is very hard deal with such kind of hair loss but the good part is its usually stops and gets back to normal in its own.
