Sometimes excessive dandruff can cause seborrhic dermatitis and follicultits. This could be causing you itching and pain over the scalp. But it will require clinical examination to evaluate further. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation. Avoid using oil till then. Use only lukewarm water to wash your scalp. After examination the dermatologist might start you on topical antifungal shampoo for the dandruff and antibiotics for follicultits.

Hello. Usually every person has hairfall. Beyond a certain limit is a worry. You need to use durdurapatradi taila for scalp application followed by lukewarm water headbath after 2 hours on alternate days. Use bhrungamalaka taila for head application on the other alternate days. Include 2tsp melted ghee in ur diet in breakfasts. Your condition improves in 2 to 3 weeks. If you donot notice satisfactory results consult nearby Ayurveda doctor for treatments.
