Hair Loss/Patch
I recently got a bald patch on my head, it just appeared a week ago. The hair surrounding to the bald patch are also very weak now, if i just try to pull some hair near to the patch a lot of them would just come off without even pulling them hard. I am very scared now, i have been having some hairfall since last 3-4 months but i guess it was mostly because of the hard water of Gurgaon and yes i started smoking couple of months ago which i quitted completely 2-3 weeks ago. (If this info helps)

You are having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body like scalp, eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches. Please contact me through online consult option for proper examination and prescription of medicine.
