Hair loss and balding
I have done excess of strict dieting or you can call starving for 2 past years so as to become thin due to which i have lost amost all my healthy thick hair. I hardly have any hair left. Also i just got over with final year MBBS which had a lot of study stress adding to hairfall. I had really thick black healthy hair until 2014 before i neglected my proper daily diet. My question is if i start a proper healthy and balanced diet with regular excersise and yoga to reduce stress will i be able to regrow my lost hair back? Or won't i be able to get back my hair ever again? Or will hair transplantation be better withoutg any side effects on my health as i am just 21. Thankyou doctor

The hair cycle normally consists of growing, resting and falling hairs and there is a delicate balance between these stages of hair cycle. Normally hair should re-grow but if it is not happening, you should consider seeing a dermatologist. Further information is in the following weblink https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/hair-and-scalp-problems/hair-losss You will definitely do well with improved diet. Hair transplant is the last option and can be decided after consultation.
