  4. Hair loss after fever. Required?

Hair loss after fever
I got severe fever 3 months back. Since  1month i have been suffering from intense hair fall, During washing my head, hair fall is countless Whenever i gently touch my head,lot of hairs comes to my hand. Also suffered skin peeling from feet soles 2 months back. Right now it is normal. Will my hair comeback? Any treatment required?

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
