Hair colouring while breastfeeding
Hello docs .. i am mother to 7 month old baby ... I went for hair colour yesterday and asked them fr ammonia free hair colour...but came to knw at last that they have applied hair colour with ammonia...on my scalp... Permanent hair colour... I have not breastfed my baby frm yesterday...i am so worried... How long i have to wait to breastfeed my baby... Aftr that hair colour session.... Will it have effect on my breast milk... Plzz help me out ... Do i have to wait for more days...plzzz reply

Hello dear. Don't worry, hair colour is applied on the hair, and since hair is actually kerarinised dead cells, there is no absorption. Even if some reaches the scalp, absorption is minimal.
