Got superficial skin abrasions on the right knee & elbow. Now a week has gone by but wound is still not completely healed. My question is that , is the prolongness of the healing process is due to fact that the wounds are exactly at the joints? Also what is the best ointment to be used & can i have a bath over it?

Some wounds do take a long time to heal around joints.
use betadiene ointment over the lesions everyday for a few days.
if the wound is dry you can apply water but better wud b to cleanse it with betadiene lotion.
Take tablet vit c for a few days which helps in quick healing of wounds.
