Gynaecology: Cervix length
I got my NT scan done at 12.3 weeks , scan showed everything normal but cervical length came as 2.9 cm. Is it less? Do i need a cercalage? Thnx

Ideally cut off for this is 2.5 cms, but at less than 3 cms, mostly we go for circlage. Depends upon your obstetrician

Need of cervical cerclage is when your Cervix length is <25mm before 24 weeks of pregnancy. Was there any history of painless cervical dilation in prior pregnancy during 2nd trimester leading to miscarriage??? If not then no need cerclage.
