Sir my uncle suffering gbs last 15 days we were doing. 5 plasma pherisis but No improvements is there doctor said his diaphragm dameged Duto antibodies he said no solution for this problem now he is breathing using artificial ventilation aged 39 Is there any solution. For the problem

Dear user, GBS is a one time event and plasmapheresis is done to halt the disease progression. The recovery occurs slowly over weeks. So I think he just have to be on supportive management with good physiotherapy with time slowly he will improve. Only thing is that he should have any secondary infection or other complications.
