I had trimmed my hair from a particular portion(not fully)of my head a few months back(maybe a year) and then i would just keep trimming it when hairs at that part grew a little bit long and now my hair at that grows till a limited length even if i will not trim th for about 1 month how should i grow my hair back at that portion properly

Hello dear, Hair grows from its root ... That is the bulb. When cutting hair, you do not damage any root. The length of hair depends on the growth cycle or anagen phase of hair growth.
Next Steps
I would recommend you to wait for 6-8 months before you trim your hair again. I am sure it will grow.
