Grafeel Injection 300mg
My mother has been prescribed by her doctor to take 3 grafeel 300mg injections as she is undergoing chemotherapy. Please help Me on this.

Depending upon aggressiveness of chemotherapy, one can predict chance of decrease in blood count post chemotherapy.. Grafeel is prescribed to pt with higher risk to improve white blood count so that pt should not catch any infection

Grafeel Injection works by stimulating the bone marrow to increase the level of white blood cells. It is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: 1.Risk of infections in patients getting chemotherap 2.Low level of neutrophils

This is the injection of growth factor , which is given so tat WBC counts of the patient on chemo doesn't fall too much and become normal rapidly.
