There is no narrowing , so no food will get stuck. U have a feeling of food stuck because of acid reflux from stomach injuring ur lining of food pipe .take the medication prescribed to u by ur doctor, however it is important for u to follow some lifestyle changes for u to be able to stop medication and lead a comfortable life
Eat small frequent meals every 4 hrs
dont increase gap between meals for more than 6 hrs
donot lie down immediately after meal . wait atleast 1 hr . (sit upright or walk around )
Avoid water during meals , preferably take water in between meals,
Avoid excess tea coffee carbonated drinks fried food .and spicy food
Do regular exercise for 30 mins every day
Avoid Stress .Do yoga/meditation.
take proper sleep
Drink plenty of liquids approx 2 to 3 liters per day in between meals rather than during meals
