Echo Impression Normal LV cavity size No LVRWMA Normal LV systolic function Grade 2 LV distolic dysfunction Normal Valves No significant regurgitation Normal pericardium No intracardiac mass / thrombus We got this done before gallbladder surgery. Cardiologist gave fit for surgery. Requesting you to interpret this and suggest further course of action. Is this very serious problem.

Diastolic dysfunction can be due to high boood pressure or stress or diabetes. If you dont have any of these, you need not worry about it. Also get a repeat Echo done after surgery as your Chamber dimensions are not normal. LVIDd and LVIDs are beyond normal limits
