Hives only after crying can be a result of stress or anxiety. Hence they are also called "stress hives". If it is observed recently after starting the use of medications and rash is present throughout the day it may be allergic reaction which needs promt addressal with your consultant for further management Regards Dr. Ramya Consultant Neuropsychiatrist
