Got hit in eye- bruise around eye

Hi, I got hit in eye almost 6 7 years ago and there was a very dark circle formed around eye, which faded by the time. But still that eye is darker than normal one, as if one eye hs dark circle. Please let me know if this can be treated or if its some internal injury. I want my both under eyes to look nrml.
