Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT)

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I've 6 month pregnant, yesterday i did GTT , After taking 75gms. Glucose. Blood Sugar 1/2 hr - 168 mgs.% 1 hr - 196 mgs.% 1 1/2 hrs - 167 mgs.% 2 hrs - 156 mgs.% 2 1/2 hrs - 126 mgs.% After 2 hours sugar level will be high, can you please guide me the diet chart. Thank you

Your values are suggestive of Gestational diabetes . Diet for GDM has to be personalised and is not a one size fit all. So I suggest you to meet your local endocrinologist. The broader outlines generally would be to avoid food with high glycemic index (check them online) , increase fibre in your diet, have frequent small meals and go for a small 10 minute walk after 15 mts of every meal.
