Glucometer’s are ideally meant for monitoring purpose in diabetics . Glucometer reading should not be used for diagnosis. For diagnosis Venous blood should be drawn and analysed in the lab .
So OGGT should not be done with a Glucometer but taking a venous blood sample and analysed in the lab .
