Giving solid food to baby
Hello doctor....My baby is 5 and half month old. Can I introduce solid food  for my baby. One time In a day.

Weaning (solid foods ) should be started after 6 months Till 6 months best to give only breast milk

Ideally it is advised to give exclusive breastfeeding to baby till 6 months of age. However if the baby's weight remains static and baby's hunger is not met through Breast milk , you can start semisolid food like dal , mashed veggies soup, ragi sattva, rava at 5 months as well.
