Getting pungent Taste and Smell
So a little background. I got covid on April 20th and fully recovered well by the first week of May. I also got my first shot of vaccine on the 10th of June. I had food poisoning 2 weeks ago and acid reflux. I recovered fine in a day or two but I've been getting a pungent Taste and Smell from certain foods - mainly non veg foods and anything with masalas. The taste and smell issue has been lingering around for a week and a half. I'm not sure if it were the food posing causing this or is this some post covid complication as I read about online. Any help or insights would be appreciated.

Post covid some patients do have loss of smell or taste or altered smell taste.  It recovers slowly in many patients.  U can keep smelling various strong odors and taste different types like salty bitter sweet etc in between to regain normal smell taste. Continue taking multivitamins
