Loss of taste and smell
I am not able to determine the taste and smell of things properly. Everything smells and tastes the same. It has been happening for a few months now. Everything smells and taste like some kind of medicine(chemicals). I had covid symptoms in March and I lost the taste and ability from then but after that, I started to gain both the senses but they aren't working properly. Due to chemical taste, I am not able to eat properly and it is affecting my physical health.

Hello,
I had a similar experience post covid infection where in i gained sense of smell but certain odours/ foods would smell so terrible that i wouldn't be able to eat them. However over time that sensation decreased. It takes time to recover.
